Returns & Refund Policy
Mainichi is committed to quality craftsmanship. Every piece is handmade with care using reclaimed and thoughtfully chosen materials. If something isn’t right, I’m here to help. If your item arrives damaged or develops a fault, please get in touch ASAP with your order number and photos of the issue so we can resolve promptly.
Under Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a replacement or refund if an item is:
faulty,
unsafe,
significantly different from the description, or
not fit for purpose.
Change of Mind
Due to the handmade and small-batch nature of Mainichi products, I do not offer refunds for change of mind. However, I am happy to offer an exchange or credit if the item is:
unused,
unworn,
in its original condition, and
returned within 14 days of delivery.
Return postage for change-of-mind exchanges is the customer’s responsibility.
Exchanges
You may exchange your piece for a different size or style (subject to availability) within 14 days of receiving your order. Items must be in original, unworn condition. Customers are responsible for return postage and any difference in product price.
Custom and Made-to-Order Items
Custom pieces and made-to-order designs cannot be returned or exchanged unless they are faulty under Australian Consumer Law.
How to Initiate a Return
Email mainichi@mainichi.com.au with your order number and reason for return and any relevant photos.
You will receive instructions on how to proceed within 2 business days.
Return the item using a tracked postal service.
Once received and assessed, I will process your refund, exchange or credit within 5 business days.
